Sydney grew up riding, training, and showing horses. After she earned her degree in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University, she knew that she wanted to combine her passion for horses with her career. She established an equine-assisted activities program in Maine before moving to Las Vegas to practice physical therapy and sports medicine. Upon returning to the East coast, she worked for a therapeutic riding center which allowed her to utilize horses as part of her treatment plan, while at the same time, she practiced in an out-patient orthopedic setting, focusing on manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation and balance disorders.
Sydney joined NVTRP in 2017 and utilizes hippotherapy as part of the rehabilitation process. Sydney is also an adjunct faculty member in the Physical Therapist Assistant program at NVCC.
