Doing this work with like-minded people, all while giving time and energy to a great cause, makes this great fun for the entire team! SARAH GONZALEZ, SHIFT LEADER
Sarah began volunteering at NVTRP in 2017. Originally from Elburn, Illinois, she grew up on a small property with horses and learned to ride at a young age. A few years after beginning her career in Washington, DC, she began training in Eventing and bought her horse Rocky (aka Rockstar Rebellion) at the start of 2020. She volunteered at therapeutic riding and equine-assisted learning programs in Illinois, Maryland and Virginia before arriving at NVTRP.
Sarah works full-time for the National Grain and Feed Association. She holds a BS in journalism from Iowa State University.
