These groups help with important projects including fence repair and painting, organizing storage areas, grounds and landscaping work, computer work, and other facility beautification jobs around the farm. Doing this work with like-minded people, all while giving time and energy to a great cause, makes this great fun for the entire team! NVTRP receives invaluable help and volunteers gain a sense of accomplishment and joy from helping others in their community.

LAUREN SEIBEL
Lauren has been riding since she was 10 years old, and volunteering with therapeutic riding barns since she was 14. She began her PATH CTRI process at a therapeutic riding center in New York City, where she also worked on research projects examining how therapeutic riding benefits children with anxiety. She received her PATH CTRI certification in February 2022.
Lauren recently moved to the area for graduate school, and is currently a full-time clinical psychology doctoral student at George Mason University. She is thrilled to be able to continue working as an IIT at NVTRP, combining her passions for mental health and horses.
