JEFF WILKLOW, VICE CHAIR
Jeff first discovered NVTRP more than 15 years ago when he was looking for a therapeutic riding program for his daughter, Hannah, after seeing the powerful connection she made with horses, and they with her, despite her multiple disabilities. He became re-engaged several years ago as a volunteer with the capital campaign and joined the board in 2015.
Jeff is a fundraising consultant who has worked with hundreds of nonprofits across the country to help expand their capacity to fulfill their missions through increased community engagement and support.
During the pandemic, Jeff stepped into the role of Chief Development Officer at Feed More, raising money to help the network of nearly 300 food banks and food pantries in Central Virginia respond to the unprecedented demand.
Before his work at Feed More, Jeff was a fundraising consultant with the national firm Campbell & Company for nearly 20 years. Prior to that he held senior fundraising and management positions at the Points of Light Foundation, Children’s Hospital Foundation, Very Special Arts and Special Olympics.
He and his wife, Sally, have lived in the Lake Braddock community for 30 years, where they raised their three daughters, Tessa, Hannah and Abby.
